The True Stories Project was formed in April 2004 to create movies like Inlaws & Outlaws, their first feature film. Conventional wisdom has it that "talking heads" movies are boring and that folks simply won't sit still for a film that doesn't overwhelm the senses or manipulate the emotions.
But they believe that people are hungry for the truth.
They believe that folks are starving for some hope.
And, they believe that the true story, well told, is the most powerful medium available for entertaining, educating, empowering and energizing us all. They're not reinventing the wheel. They’re simply going back to basics -- strong stories and believable characters.
It's amazing what you'll find when you take the time to listen.
